CBI 5: The Brain is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language mystery thriller film directed by K. Madhu and written by S. N. Swami. The film stars Mammootty reprising his role as Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer Sethurama Iyer along with an ensemble cast. It is the fifth installment of CBI film series. The film is set to be released on 1 May 2022.
Actress Shobana is rumoured to be doing a special cameo in the movie.
