Elon Musk now owns Twitter. The board of directors has agreed to the 44bn takeover from Billionaire Elon Musk . Twitter board has approved the bid unanimously and will now be presented to shareholders for their vote. The world’s richest person now owns the 16 year old social media platform.

As per reports, each stakeholder is expected to receive approximately USD 54 in cash for each share and matching 38 % premium over the stock price.
